We've today received a sample of something that seems to be the first virus for Matlab m-files.

) is a high-level programming language for mathematical problem-solving. Matlab source files are known as "m-files".

The virus (known as "Bagoly") is not in the wild. It infects m-files parasitically by prepending it's own replication code to the beginning of other m-files it finds. It doesn't do anything else in addition of spreading.
